I had painted a previous similar scene entitled, Last Sail of the Season. This new version I depict a dark November sky and Southwesterly sunset.
About Dick Bourgault
Painter and Photographer Artist from Michigan. I just took up painting for the very first time on Christmas Day, 2013. Since that time I have painted over 750 paintings. I have paintings in galleries, restaurants, hospitals, and businesses. Two of my paintings were on display and entered into ART PRIZE 2014, the world's largest art competition, held annually in Grand Rapids, Michigan. My painting, HARMONIUS INDIVIDUALITY, was chosen and accepted for ART PRIZE 2015. It is a large 4 foot high by 6 foot wide triptych, comprised of 3 panels that are displayed side by side.
