I love taking photos. I usually don't try to copy my photos. However, after taking this photo of a July sunset on a Lake Michigan beach, I decided to give it a try. It is one of those photos/scenes that are so dramatic, you say to yourself, that nobody would think it was real if it was painted.
Painter and Photographer Artist from Michigan. I just took up painting for the very first time on Christmas Day, 2013. Since that time I have painted over 750 paintings. I have paintings in galleries, restaurants, hospitals, and businesses. Two of my paintings were on display and entered into ART PRIZE 2014, the world's largest art competition, held annually in Grand Rapids, Michigan. My painting, HARMONIUS INDIVIDUALITY, was chosen and accepted for ART PRIZE 2015. It is a large 4 foot high by 6 foot wide triptych, comprised of 3 panels that are displayed side by side.
